Old is still Gold

I don’t see myself as an old fashioned person. I like to think as open minded as I am I still reserve some good old traditional values in me. But it truly baffles me when it comes to the mentality of some people and their personal agenda.
What gets me wonder most of the time is what are people’s value of memories and bond built over time. I believe that two people get together not because it’s by choice but in a very special way two people are connected. I don’t believe that two people just meet and got together, I believe in destiny and every happens for a reason.
I hold sentiments very close to me because I believe those are what cannot be bought with money, and they are the most priceless thing that two people share. I’m bamboozled by how people can drop everything in a split second and forget about moments shared and move on.
What I’m trying to say is, even though we live in a modern world does that make it ok for people to just live and let go of things and people that once meant something to them? Irregardless of what could or may be the reason behind that ending of all that but aren’t we all suppose to give ourselves some time to think about what was so special and the reasons why those moments were made.
I rather grow old to know that I have tried to make things work when we have differences instead of throwing things away when it gets hard. Old is still gold.

I’ve made a lot of choices along the way in my life and when I look at where I am today I don’t regret them and somehow I think if I didn’t go for what I felt was right for me at that time I wouldn’t have been where I am today.

I often sit and think about loads of stuffs, about the people I left behind and if I would ever get to see them again. Sometimes it’s hard to think and when reality hits knowing that there are some people you left behind making the choices you made that most probably you won’t get to see them again.

My life is not perfect but I have strived and along the journey, I grew and became a better person. I may not have everything in life but I thank God for all that I’ve got now and everything HE blessed me with.

I understand that sometimes when you choose to live a different set of life and wants different things from other people, you have to make choices where sometimes you might regret but I guess life is such as you can’t have everything rosy and life is all about the choices you make, good or bad.

But I know someday I will be grateful that some people are worth leaving behind for the choices that made me a better person I always wanted to be. If not for the choices I’ve made I would not have been to places I have been and experience life the way I never expected.

Life is about growing up and you leave people you love and care about behind, you make sacrifices and most times it’s always for the best

Reality check

In the process of growing up, people come and go, it’s part of life. Some leaves a short note on your journey and some are here to stay. For good.

You can’t choose who to stay and who you want leave and often you think the people that were part of your life once, some forgets you and moved on, yet some remembers you. Some comes back as memories while some reminds you of what you once meant to them and how much they treasure you.

Life has taught me that there are lot of things you can’t buy with money, loyalty is not blood. Enough said. Life sucks at times but it sucks more when you think the ones that will stick by you tends to be the ones who will abandon and forget you.

In the process and the course of all that, we either grow or allow it to hold us back. Life is unpredictable, betrayal is inevitable. There are things and people in life that are worth keeping and some you are better off without.

We live in a world, reality is cruel but that’s what helps us survive through it all. Change is the only constant thing in life, nothing lasts forever.

People come and go, people die and leave the people they love behind, some people just choose to live a different set of life. Life is such and we don’t always get what we want.

Treasure the ones that never left you, appreciates the ones who abandoned you when you needed them most, because they made you a stronger and better person.

Time of my life…

I’m feeling blessed because I feel as if my world slowly starting to make sense and things are beginning to fall into place somehow. Moments like these makes you feel that all those struggles and sacrifices done was all worth … Continue reading

Have a little faith in love

Patience and perseverance goes a long way. I never gave up on a lot of things because I believe that there is a beautiful side of everything that probably seemed ugly in the beginning. Even fairytales are bitter sweet.
No one is perfect, I ain’t either. I make mistakes too and with every one I make i learn from it and make it an experience, a lesson.
Don’t judge people or conclude too soon before you even got to know them. I always believe that no human were born bad or evil, we all have a side that is vulnerable too. But some people mask that side of them so that people won’t see it and some hurt others unintentionally so they won’t be hurt.
As we grow old, we learn and we evolved. People change as they grow with time at their own time and pace not yours or anyone else’s.
We are all different, we can’t expect people to change for us. Time and circumstances changes people, we can’t force change on people. It’s like when you love someone and they don’t love you back the same, that doesn’t mean they don’t love you all the same. When true love is given, the same love given will find it’s way back when the time is right.
So what I’m trying to conclude here is that, there are some people that we don’t give up on and are worth waiting and sacrificing everything for. It might take days, months, years or even decades, but for whatever it takes it’s only you yourself know what you want and what you fighting for.
Time will tell and no effort invested are ever gone to waste. Because for no one can fight what is meant to be.
