Unworthy Motives

Redbird's Roost

“For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith.” Romans 12:3 (NASB)
How can I be sure of what God wants me to do? This is not as easy a question as it seems. Some of us have inflated opinions of our abilities. We handicap ourselves by being conceited and arrogant. Some of us are too modest. We handicap ourselves by underestimating our abilities. Paul advises each one of us “not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think.” On the other hand, one should not think of himself less highly than he ought to think. Have a little faith in love

Patience and perseverance goes a long way. I never gave up on a lot of things because I believe that there is a beautiful side of everything that probably seemed ugly in the beginning. Even fairytales are bitter sweet.
No one is perfect, I ain’t either. I make mistakes too and with every one I make i learn from it and make it an experience, a lesson.
Don’t judge people or conclude too soon before you even got to know them. I always believe that no human were born bad or evil, we all have a side that is vulnerable too. But some people mask that side of them so that people won’t see it and some hurt others unintentionally so they won’t be hurt.
As we grow old, we learn and we evolved. People change as they grow with time at their own time and pace not yours or anyone else’s.
We are all different, we can’t expect people to change for us. Time and circumstances changes people, we can’t force change on people. It’s like when you love someone and they don’t love you back the same, that doesn’t mean they don’t love you all the same. When true love is given, the same love given will find it’s way back when the time is right.
So what I’m trying to conclude here is that, there are some people that we don’t give up on and are worth waiting and sacrificing everything for. It might take days, months, years or even decades, but for whatever it takes it’s only you yourself know what you want and what you fighting for.
Time will tell and no effort invested are ever gone to waste. Because for no one can fight what is meant to be.
